We closed on the sale of a seller’s Odessa house today. About a month ago the buyer had his inspection. He was buying the house as is. However, he did not like his inspection. He asked the seller to reduce the price of the house by $10,000. The seller would not lower the price at all. After several days, the buyer agreed to buy the house as is without the price being lowered. We negotiated for our seller the best we could. We explained to the buyer’s agent that the price was low in the first place to reflect the condition of the house. We sweated it and in the end our seller got the money she wanted at the closing. Yeah!!
